“TeamSnap is a marriage saver. I spend so much time coaching and running my youth soccer team that I don't spend enough time with my better half. Since I created the team's site on TeamSnap, I don't spend all my time on the phone or constantly sending and checking for e-mails. Hence, more time to spend with the wife... even if I spend most of the time talking about soccer with her. Great site, lots of useful tools, the best I've found on the Internet.” — Michael M.
“I started using TeamSnap two years ago for the soccer teams I manage. It's made managing easier for me in several ways. The biggest benefit is making everyone responsible for marking whether they'll be at a game - I no longer have to assume that if I haven't heard from them that they'll be at the game. It's easy to send messages to the team, and having a Posts section keeps team communication together instead of only letting it get lost in Inboxes. Using the "non-player" designation, I can keep an updated roster of potential subs.
Using TeamSnap has also had a couple of benefits I wouldn't have expected: The first time I tracked payments with the Payments tab, everyone paid me by the second game! Seeing who had their green "paid" check mark and who didn't was great motivation. It's also increased many team members' engagement with the whole team: Because it's easy to post messages to the rest of the team and to see when we might need subs, team members often inadvertently help me organize by communicating directly with each other and with subs.
The TeamSnap staff themselves are also a benefit - they've been very helpful and responsive when I've had questions or suggestions for how to improve the site. I love that the basic level of TeamSnap is free!
I really love TeamSnap and could never go back to trying to manage a team over e-mail!” — Brad G.
“Great job guys. Love the site and have been wishing for something like this for years. Thanks!” — Anne P.
“We are a sports family. Big Time. Between my husband and I, we have coached and managed about 10 teams -- basketball, soccer, softball, and indoor soccer. Our kids usually play 2 sports per season so it helps enormously to be able to log in once and see all the activity for both kids, on one site, at one time. From a manger standpoint, it is incredibly useful when trying to schedule and confirm game times with other teams. The availability tab is the best -- before it took no less than 10-15 emails to settle the upcoming game roster! The parents (and kids) on the team love the convenience and find that it is very quickly adopted- by even those uncomfortable with change. Once setup the parents get really into it, posting pictures, snacks, etc. Everyone thinks I am a genius for setting it up :) and it only took 20 minutes to do!!” — Annie J.
“I think the overall design and layout of the site is excellent. All in all, this is a terrific application. I manage my own team website because I'm a web designer by trade, but the great functionality you offer is making me think that I'm switching over to TeamSnap.” — Brendan S.
“Wow!!! I love TeamSnap! It is so easy to work with. I'm one of those team moms who volunteers to help out way too much. My kids' soccer teams are on other websites that I could not work with, did not have the time to mess around, but yours was so easy to set up. I love it!!!” — Barb K.
“So far, a very user-friendly site for a somewhat reluctant computer user. I don't ‘do’ web-browsing and I use e-mail as a handy tool but only because I've figured out how to make tasks faster. If a site makes my work go faster (not having to spend so much time learning how to use it!) then I'm likely to use it and also recommend it to my other ‘non-user’ friends. Thanks for the opportunity!” — Tami C.
“TeamSnap has made managing our youth soccer team easy! With 12 kids and 24 parents it's wonderful to have one place, besides me, as the information source. If it wasn't for TeamSnap I'd be fielding emails and calls nearly daily! Especially on the weekends! The schedule feature with maps is a huge time saver and takes the heat off of me if someone doesn't know how to get to the game. Not having to remind them of the games also allows me to limit my todo list. Managing the soccer team is more work then I ever imagined so TeamSnap is heavenly!
I'm not available 24 hours per day, nor do I want to be, so it is great that TeamSnap is. The parents can check the schedule, availability, locations etc any time of day without having to contact me. Also, those with PDAs can check on the road.
TeamSnap is used by my own adult soccer teams. It is nice to not have to wait for questions to be answered when I can always check online.” — Amy B.
“TeamSnap is a really easy, convenient and good system to manage your team. In Hong Kong we use it for a Football Team and a Hockey Team to keep track of availability of players. Most people here are busy with work, travel a lot and so find it difficult to play every week. But they still want to be member of a team, and play once available. TeamSnap offers a very good and easy system (setup within 30 minutes) where all can see who will play, who will not, extra players are needed and also see all games scheduled. As a team manager you only need a little time each week to keep track, inform all members in a short notice, and keep track of other managerial tasks e.g payments.
In a fast and busy environment as Hong Kong, TeamSnap offers an efficient and quick way to be an excellent team manager in the very limited free time available. Thank you friends at TeamSnap!” — Gerry S.
“Our women's soccer team loves Team Snap! It is genius, easy and efficient. Every team should use it! The site is brilliantly designed to have all the necessary features in one place, for every player to view. Prior to using Team Snap we were disorganized and inefficient. People would call me, the player/manager almost daily with some lame question ("What's Jill's phone number?" "What time is our game next week?" "Am I supposed to bring the cooler?") Managers, you know how this goes! With Team Snap, everyone has access to all the info themselves!
The roster has everyone's information in one spot; phone numbers, addresses, jersey number, whatever you need to know. Gone is my raggedy phone list stuck with a magnet on my refrigerator!
Before Team Snap, one person had to keep track of all the information, and it got very cumbersome and time consuming. Being busy adults, not everyone would respond about their attendance, and at the last minute there were a flurry of frantic telephone calls. It was very stressful and completely inefficient. Now we can post the entire season's schedule on Team Snap, and people can fill in their availability weeks in advance. If you know in advance that we already have an abundance of players for a particular game, you can choose that weekend to go away. If you can see that certain weeks we are running short, you can change your schedule around to make sure you are at the game. Team Snap works amazingly well.
By letting everyone know who is coming, who is bringing the cooler, who has paid their dues, and who hasn't logged on to respond, it takes the responsibility away from the manager to chase people down. And the mere idea that everyone can see prompts people to be more responsible, so that they aren't the one who never paid, who never volunteered to bring the cooler, etc. Each player on our team has stepped up and become more responsible since we started using Team Snap...because it's so easy!
We also started using Team Snap for events, like posting several possible tournaments or potential dates for our end-of-season party, to see which dates are better for people. This completely cuts down on the back-and-forth emails that waste everyone's time.
We tell other teams about Team Snap all the time. It's the BEST ORGANIZATIONAL tool we've ever found for our soccer team (and believe me, we've tried many systems through the years). I thank Team Snap every day for easing my soccer-related duties and helping our team become better at communicating. GO TEAM SNAP!!” — Sarah H.
“TeamSnap is the only mode of communication for our team. I don't pass out printed schedules or create email lists in my personal email. TeamSnap is great for collecting payments. It's super user friendly and saves me so much time while managing my daighter's soccer team!” — Koleen C.
“Our club has been using Team Snap for the past several seasons. We have found it a wonderful communication and scheduling tool for coaches and families. Parents find it helpful to see the season schedule at a glance, like how easy it is to mark their availability for games, and love the fact that all messages are kept in a special file for convenient reference (as opposed to having to sort through past emails). The staff at Team Snap are very responsive to questions as well as to suggestions for making their product even better than it already is. We love Team Snap and think you will, too!” — Elizabeth S.
“Team Snap has been fantastic for me. I have used the website as both a coach and as a parent of a player. I have found it to be very easy to use and it has been a great way to communicate information to my teams throughout the seasons. Personally, I find the roster, schedule, availability, and ability to email players the most useful. Many of my parents are photographers, and it has been great for them to be able to post photo's for the team to enjoy.
I have used the website for the past couple of years, and have encouraged many other coaches I encounter to give it a try. Everyone that I've suggested it to, has agreed that it is a great tool.” — Steve M.
“Last summer, I managed a U-13M AA soccer team using TeamSnap for the first time. I was pleased with TeamSnap and also were the players and their parents. I was asked by the latter to use it again for the next season. First, TeamSnap simplifies the management of the availability to the practices and games and the schedule of the season is clearly presented. When the schedule was first presented on TeamSnap, every player was asked to confirm his presence for each event of the season. Once done, there still remains very little to do concerning the availability management!! Cancellations are clearly indicated on TeamSnap. Even last minute cancellations or changes were performed on TeamSnap as everybody was told to look at the site before each event. So, no more need to phone the entire team after each change! The message section was used to organize player transportation, social activities and for special advices from the coach or manager. As these messages were sent via e-mails at the same time, I was sure to join everybody. The photo and file sections were used to show pictures taken by parents during the season and to store forms or precious documents. The site is user friendly so everybody was able to deal with it easily. I used to update the information regularly, so everybody looked at the site regularly and had great confidence in it. The site was used by players or parents independently. TeamSnap truly facilitates sport team management, and moreover, it has a real team gathering power.” — Julie F.
“I found TeamSnap by chance one day and decided to poke around a bit, instantly I saw its immense potential to manage our Soccer club. As one of the managers of my team and the guy in charge of developing and maintaining our website, TeamSnap has been a breath of fresh air. From the easy player sign up (we have 50 players, training players and ex-players signed up), having all our player information easily available and exportable (to my iPhone!). To easy group email management (our old mailing list pales in comparison), game alerts with configurable alert times, easy practice and game schedule management with built in mapping support. Of course there are many many more features to TeamSnap, but by far the best is the availability tab where a team can with a minimal amount of clicks, show their manager when they can play and when they can't. Its perfect for us as we want to know who will be at every training session and every game, in advance. You can also lock it down close to the event time in case a sneaky player attempts to change their availability at the last minute, claiming they couldn't go all along! The TeamSnap developers have thought of just about everything, and the best part is that I feel they listen to their users and are always thinking about how to make their product better.
TeamSnap has become an invaluable part of our team, we mention it at every training session: "make sure to log your availability on TeamSnap!" I simply can't say enough good things about this web application, if you need a feature rich sports management app that is easy, expansive and fun to use... look no further than TeamSnap.” — Stuart T.
“I have found TeamSnap very useful for managing a team. With a contact list and schedule available to everyone as needed, to the availability feature which lets us prepare for our training sessions knowing how many players will be there. The kids like the photo, message and stats features as it lets them communicate amongst the team and post pictures from games. The stats feature is very useful, especially for us being at a competitive level, just so the kids know what is going on. I am very happy to have found TeamSnap and would like to continue using it for years to come.” — Rene L.
“We are an amateur soccer team from Amsterdam and we use TeamSnap on a weekly base to check the availability of the team players. It's a wonderful way to enquire if enough players attend the match on Saturdays. We also use the broad statistics tool to keep count of the scored goals, laundry duty and other match statistics. Lovely! Next to this TeamSnap allows us to send messages (via the message board) and reminders (via email) to each other, which increases the involvement of the team players. Overall a great tool to get your team and it's administration organized!” — Mark P.
“Managing several teams in multiple sports was becoming a daunting task, until a teammate recommended TeamSnap. Now by using TeamSnap, I am able to input the season schedule, and then each of the players are able to check off their availability for each match.
I first began using team snaplast winter to manage two teams, and it became immediately clear that the web based service was going to be very helpful. Each player was able to check their availability and coordinate their personal schedules. The entire team is able to see who will be at the upcoming games, in addition to who will be absent.
In the spring, I began managing two more teams using TeamSnap, and the players have been very positive in their response and use of the service. The message service is also very helpful for discussing team related news, and coordinating any last minute changes by use of sending messages to each individuals email address.
I am also able to track individuals payment of team fees via the website as well. This feature can be either open to the entire team to view, or hidden for viewing by the managers only. By being able to show the players who've paid their fees, the collection has been greatly improved. None of the players want to see their name in the unpaid category, so the players are paying on a timely basis.
The roster feature allows all the players to find phone numbers and email addresses as well.
Keep up the good work, TeamSnap has made my job of managing much easier.” — Neal L.
“I love this site. It makes managing a team so much easier. Messages are easy to broadcast to all team members. We love keeping stats and posting them on the site. It is great to post pictures and pdf files. The "Refreshments" tab makes it great to remember who is bringing what. Overall - this is a fabulous site that we recommend to every manager out there.” — Sharon S.
“I really like TeamSnap as a manager and soccer player myself. My Soccer Team really embraced it as soon as it was on, I used to need three or four emails from everybody to know whether they could attend any game. The strongest functionality is the availability tab. Be able to change that as a player, given certain constraints managed by the manager is a great tool. Message posting and uploading of files is the second and third strongest functionality. I was able to post my formation in advance and ideas/concepts before specific games. We created a logo which was uploaded as well, which gives an idea of belonging to a specific group of people who, in this case, like soccer.” — Claudio V.
“We are a few friends in Iceland who play soccer together once or twice a week. We don't play competitive games, just for fun. We used to send endless emails around on training day, until I stumbled upon Team Snap. Now we can easily see who is going to show up, and who is not. We have also used the payment feature quite a bit. The interface is easy to use, and all our members were up and running in no time at all.” — Arni R.
“TeamSnap has been a great help for me in regard of having everything on one site. When I first set up TeamSnap for our team, we had many new players. It was so easy to upload photo's of each child, so families could look at them and start remembering their names! It is great to look up old messages that have gone out, check on past games and even e-mail the game schedule to people not in our group! I love that if you need to hand out a hard copy, you can click on the game and print out a nice looking form with all info, that you might need! The TeamSnap team has been helpful and responsive when I have e-mailed suggestions or needed help. We as a club are trying to get each team on TeamSnap! I LOVE TEAMSNAP!!!” — Yvonne J.
“TeamSnap is a fantastic site for all amateur sports teams! By having team members update their "availability" for future games and practices creates repeat visits to the site. Links to "google maps" is great for game directions and helps for car pooling when the player has their own address listed in their profile. Our previous weekly emails with large photo attachments have now been eliminated and replaced with one common image repository on our TeamSnap site. We look forward to introducing your "statistics" and "payment" options to our members in the near future. Keep up the great work TeamSnap, it is much appreciated!” — David L.
“TeamSnap has been such a great tool to have for our team. It is a one stop blessing. No more looking up all the past emails and trying to find where everything is. It has been nice to actually put team info and pictures in one place. It keeps our team connected. Thanks for thinking of everything, so I can enjoy more time to have with my son.” — Kim H.
“My experience with Team Snap so far has been great. It has saved me so much time and energy. I love being able to just enter everything in for the entire season at once and have my team members check the website themselves for updates. The best part about it has been the availability tab. It's so easy to see how many players we have for each game which helps determine whether or not we need to find substitutes. It's been such a huge help! I'm not sure what I would do without it!” — Tyler C.

“TeamSnap has been a wonderful website and helps me keep in contact with my parents. We normally have between 12 to 14 members and being able to send one email out to them is great -- it will notify them via email so they don't even have to log onto the website for my updates. We are able to post team photos and our parents have posted pictures of the games whichare fun to share. I know at a glance (and so do my parents) who is going to be at the game, who is bringing snacks, which field we are to play on, what time -- its all right there! I highly recommend TeamSnap to any team looking for a well organized and easy to use site.” — Jamie M.
“Thanks to TeamSnap, my second season as team manager has been a breeze. Our soccer team involves 16 families and multiple ways to contact each one. TeamSnap allows me, as a manager, to coordinate contact information, check on who will be at practices and games and broadcast messages. Anyone on our contact list can respond to my broadcasts for anything from carpooling to checking on lost and found items. TeamSnap has also been fun for our teen girls to post photos and comments (all positive--team rule) about games and upcoming events. The site was simple to set up and very user friendly for all of our team members and parents. Thanks again for a great team resource.” — Kathy K.
“As a busy parent/coach TeamSnap has been a phenomenal team management tool. My parents love to use TeamSnap for our game schedule, maps and directions to the games, refreshment sign-up and sending team messages. I love TeamSnap because it simplifies all my administrative hassles with one easy to use, and very cool looking, website. Thanks TeamSnap!” — Ben B.
“My absolute favorite thing about TeamSnap is that my whole family has our team schedules in the same place. I can check on all our teams with one log-in from any computer. No more bouncing between email, google calendar, the side of the fridge...... Also no more search through oodles of email titled "RE: soccer schedule."
As a team manager I love that everyone is responsible for their own information. Change your email address - fine log-on to TeamSnap and update it. Something come up and you can't make next week's game? Log-on to TeamSnap and update your own availability. Take a cool picture of the kids last week-end? Don't email it to everyone, post it on TeamSnap.
It works really well for my adult teams. Mixing the think-ahead types who know every game they'll miss for the next 3 months with the go-with-the-flow folks who commit week to week used to be a lot of work for the manager. No more saving old email or making spreadsheets that I have to update.
It also worked great for soccer tournament planning. My daughter's team wanted to play in one of three summer tournaments. We simply posted all 3 and asked folks to update their availability. The one with the most available players was very easy to spot.” — Shannon R.
“I manage a soccer team with 18 players, 3 coaches and 30 parents. Like many volunteers managing sports teams, I want to do a good job and still have a life! Simply put... TeamSnap makes managing my team easy so I can enjoy the games like everyone else. In a sense, TeamSnap is self managing. The team knows, 24/7, where to get the latest game information and how to tell me and the coaches about their availability and commitment to games and events. I can easily communicate last minute schedule changes and requests for player information. I can easily carry forward last year's team info into a new season, including statistics. The players love to post their best game photos and parents like password protected privacy of the site. Highly recommended!” — Jon M.
“As a coach, player and team parent, TeamSnap lets me organize snacks, check availability, track game fees and keep in touch with parents, coaches and players, quickly and easily. I tell every parent, coach and manager that I meet that if they are not organizing their team on TeamSnap, they are doing 3x the work that is necessary. It's a fantastic website and keeps things running smoothly....” — Rick W.
“I found TeamSnap while looking for a piece of software that could help me communicate with my team. I am not the manager, I am a player, so that can be a good example of how this web application could be useful for any kind of user that is looking for a complete tool to manage team stats.
I like the communication tools, the easy interface design, the statistics... but what I like most is the flexibility it gives me to adapt the standard features to our own special tournament rules. This is not a small thing, because one of the main issues everybody will find by using other tools or software bundles is that it is always difficult to keep it simple and adapted/integrate with your own needs.
It is free, easy and it works! And I know what I say, because I am the Web Director for a big Studio here in Argentina dealing with design, interface usability, technology and programming items, on a daliy basis.” — Hernan P.
“As a team manager, staying organized can be incredibly hard to do. TeamSnap.com has been my saving grace! It makes every aspect of managing a sports team a breeze! It covers everything from scheduling to roster management to picture hosting. You are basically get to create a virtual home for your team. I guarantee once you try it out, you'll never go back!” — Shahn H.
“As a manager for any sporting team, the challenge is to find a place to store, organize and distribute information. I have found that after having coached and managed three children through 15 collective years of soccer that our TeamSnap site is the simplest way of communicating, collecting and sharing information with my team. If I had been tasked with designing a site to organized children's sports teams, this would have been the site that I would have built...it is logical, intelligent and intuitive. In fact, it simplifies a very difficult administrative task, which is after all the holy grail of every tired parent sacrificing themselves for the sports life of their kids!” — Kirk C.
“Okay honestly, the only reason you need to use TeamSnap is because you're almost always guaranteed a sweet gift certificate to REI or Amazon.com from the parents who thought you were so organized all season long. Forget spreadsheets, email, evite, orangeslices and teamcowboy -- TeamSnap brings in the goods!” — Stephen H.
“I've been the general manager of a couple of different sports teams for the past 3 years. However, i've been using TeamSnap for the past 2 seasons and i can honestly say managing is now a breeze because of it. With so many practical features, it's real easy to stay organized and get important information out to my players, such as, schedule, payments, stats, and emergency messages all throughout the season. TeamSnap gives us one place to go to and it's great. The graphic interface is very simple and user-friendly. It's not any more difficult than it needs to be. And my favorite features are the availbility and payment tabs. So thanks, TeamSnap. I can't wait to see what you all come up with next.” — Pech N.
“In one word, TeamSnap is simply "fantastic". At first the parents of the children on ourteam were reluctant. As you know people are always reluctant to change. Now everyone is excited about using the website. TeamSnap is the most thorough for team management, user friendly, excellent tool for communication, and allows us to transmit documents instantaneously. I can go on and on. Very happy to have chosen TeamSnap. No regrets. Would recommend TeamSnap any team or league.” — Salvatore C.
“We absolutely love TeamSnap. Since we started using it, knowing who will be at a game and who won't is a lot easier, which makes it easier on us to find subs ahead of time rather than last minute. It took a little bit for some of our players to "buy into it", so to speak, but once they finally logged in and saw how cool it was they started using it. The ability to see who has/hasn't paid fees is a huge plus for us too. That not only eliminates the chaos of tracking on paper (or a lousy spreadsheet), but it keeps everyone accountable. Being able to see everyone's contact information in one place is also a huge plus for our entire team, not just us managers. I think that as a manager those are the 3 best features.” — Angie H.
“The best thing about TeamSnap is having everything having everything to do with the team in one place. If you are a captain or organizer, you understand how great that is. That would be enough for me, but TeamSnap has more. They have an easy-to-understand, appealing yet fully-featured interface. Also, they offer many options to export your stuff (like schedules), so your information is your information, to access how you like.” — Marshall T.
“I was first introduced to TeamSnap through an invite to sign my son up for a baseball team site. Soon after my son joined a soccer team as well and I volunteered to be team manager. I really had no idea what I was getting into, but soon realized the challenge of keeping 30 parents, their kids and the coach all informed and communicating. TeamSnap has really made this a breeze.
We use all features available. The ability to post the schedules with location links is great. The entire tem uses the message system and as a result no one accidentally gets left out of the communication trail. Most importantly, team snap allows me to provide information effectively and empowers to parents to receive the info when and where they want. It really takes a significant load off of managing a team.
I highly recommend team managers use TeamSnap! It will make your job so much easier and your team will never want to use anything else.” — Bob D.
“We have been using TeamSnap to manage our team for a couple of months now and it has made my life so much easier. I had actually stopped managing my team a few years ago due to the fact that it was too much time to make sure everyone was contact, who was showing up, who wasn't. With TeamSnap that has all been automated. All team members get an email 2 days before games and practices, reminding them of when and where to be and all they have to do is log on and check off if they can make it. 24 hours before kick off I get an email with our available roster and work with our coaches to put together a line up.
I know the players have really enjoyed the built in message board system. A lot of team trash talk takes place there. The guys at TeamSnap have done a wonderful job and I would highly recommend it to any manager.” — Nicholas B.
“I love TeamSnap. It has made tracking attendance and payments much easier. It is really nice knowing who is going to show up at each game. E-mail notifications are a great reminder to get the team to update the calendar. The ability to publish and export the calendar is AWESOME! It really lowers absences due to mis-calendared games! Setting up your team is fairly easy. Entering the first season of games is also pretty easy, but the following seasons are REALLY easy since TeamSnap remembers the teams that we play against.” — Brian B.
“I am so thrilled that I was referred to TeamSnap for all of our soccer team coordination. We had previously been using E-vite for our games/practices, and it just wasn't cutting it. It is so easy to add team members, games, practice dates, payment info, etc. so that everything is in one spot. We have been using TeamSnap for many seasons, and it has never failed us. We would (and have) gladly recommend the TeamSnap site to anyone who manages a sports team.” — Anna S.
“TeamSnap has been a real boon to our youth soccer team. Before TeamSnap, we were using Yahoo Groups to manage the team and the games, but TeamSnap has proven so much more useful. It is just a lot easier to set up the games, figure out who can attend, assign refreshments and post pictures after the game. No more endless strings of emails to sort through, and we now have an easy-to-navigate home base for our team with all the key information where it can be easily found and updated.” — Alan H.
“I LOVE TEAMSNAP! I was introduced to it by a coworker who knew I played on a women's soccer team. I got in on the beta version. All the ladies on the team find it very useful to have the schedule and it's easy to see if we have enough going to show up to play with the availability tab. Plus I can keep track of who's paid me and who hasn't.
When my two son's got involved in football last year, I told the team mom's about it, but they didn't really want to bother. THIS year, I took the initative and just did it for the team mom's. All the parents love it! They are posting pictures, using the messaging system and the refreshments tab. The season's over but this is allow us to stay in touch during the off season. I imagine that we might use even more the tools next year.
Thanks for a great tool for our sports teams!” — Benita W.
“We are an upstart club (2 teams!) which was formed in August of 2007. We used TeamSnap from the day after our first organizational meeting. We are dependant on the site for the rapid dissemination of team info. We have 37 girls on 2 teams located in 7 separate small towns in a 4 county area. We are truly a "rural" club. TeamSnap unifies our efforts to keep everyone informed. Messages (with broadcast option) and Schedule are the most important sections for us. Marathon telephone "blitzes" are a thing of the past.” — Jon M.
“TeamSnap is fabulous! What I love about TeamSnap is that it is a very easy way to manage and stay in contact with all of my team members. I manage a girl's U10 team, and it's very easy to remind the team of upcoming events, practices, games....everything a parent needs to know, is easily at their fingertips. (schedule, location of games, directions to games, what color jersey to wear, who's doing snack, who's available or not for a game) It's just great.” — Kathy B.
“Our team travels for work. Before TeamSnap, we had no clue if we'd have enough people or if I'd be starting at goalie, ref, striker and team mom. The easy to use availability system lets us see in advance who can make it so we can plan appropriately. And, thanks to the customizable statistics, we can keep track of goals, assists and the all-important "starts with hangover." (The message board is a convenient place for interventions with the leader of that last category.) The site is easy to use and has definitely helped keep our team together both on the field and off.” — Tim S.
“TeamSnap has allowed me to easily and professionally manage rosters and schedules for three youth soccer teams. The parents, all busy with work and other children, routinely thank me for making their lives easier -- in fact, I am referred to as the organized coach!
As a working professional and head coach for 2-3 teams spring, winter, and fall, I can't afford time to track down parents and availability via phone and email. TeamSnap provides the exact functionality I need to manage both recreational and travel-level teams. Just as importantly, the site is secure and reliable -- not one issue in 4 years. Lastly, the system gets better each release. Well done TeamSnap!” — Eric B.
“I have two children, and manage both of their soccer teams. This year, I discovered TeamSnap, and it really has greatly streamlined my management tasks. Instead of having to use excel spreadsheets, email groups, and hand-written envelopes to track roster, schedule and payment information, among others, I can use our TeamSnap site to do all of that. But the best thing has been that all of the parents have access to the same information that I have. When any parent wants to know the team's record, or the phone number of another player, or who has signed up for snack, they only need to access the TeamSnap web site. When the coaches want to make a change in practice time or contact the players about anything, TeamSnap makes it easy. It has become the central repository for all of our important information, and the kids love to be able to see their team website. I highly recommend this valuable management tool!” — Lisa S.
“TeamSnap has made team communication and organization much easier. Everything you need to management a team is in TeamSnap. It is also a fun and safe site for players to communicate with each other, check their latest statistics and see pictures from the season.
As a head coach, the feature I value the most is the scheduling section. You can easily add practices or games to the schedule -- times, location and even directions -- in seconds. You add the address of the field and magically directions appear. It's awesome! In the scheduling section players check-off their availability for practices and games. You will always know how many players will be available.
My parents love the e-mail reminders they receive automatically from TeamSnap -- forgetting a practice is almost impossible with TeamSnap.
The only regret I have about TeamSnap is I just learning about this software this year. TeamSnap would have made the first eight years of my coaching career much easier.
You've got to try it.” — Bill M.
“TeamSnap is the all in one place for all to access -- it's fantastic. Both the manager and players love the fact that they don't have to ring around for numbers each week. Through the messages it promotes great camaraderie amongst the team and plenty of funny stuff. The stats created interest each week and bragging rights. Uploading photos improved throughout the year and provided access rather than trying to email them. All players constantly raved about the website and other teams wanted to know all about it. I am sure that TeamSnap was a contributing factor in our team winning the premiership this season.” — Boyd T.
“TeamSnap has been a great resource tool to organize and track your sports team. For my team it is our one source for everything we need to communicate to each other and keep up to date on team related activities. TeamSnap makes the team manager/organizers job so much easier. Instead of every teammate emailing me their availability (which can be 20+ emails a week), they can now go straight to TeamSnap and simply mark if they will be at an event or not. It can't get any easier! It's a snap! I only wish TeamSnap could help make my team play better on the field. Thanks TeamSnap.” — Peter V.
“TeamSnap makes managing a sports team SO much easier. I have been a "soccer/hockey mom" for years, and have been creating my own lists, spreadsheets, tables, etc. to keep track of all the things that TeamSnap stores and organizes. There are several choices "out there" on the web for managing teams, but through my research, I've never found one as useful and as easy to use as TeamSnap. I love being able to keep track of the kids' numbers, the parents' cell phones, the jersey sizes, refreshments, payments, the schedule, ANYTHING you want (thanks to custom fields). Gathering all this info is a snap, too, because with TeamSnap, I can quickly name the fields during team setup and then send out a request to all the families to fill in the blanks with their kid/family info!
Also, TeamSnap makes it easy to put in the schedule (complete with links to maps and venues). I love seeing the kids' pics when I log on - It's hard to see their faces when they're wearing all their hockey gear at the rink, but thanks to TeamSnap, I can see their faces right next to their names and learn them all quickly! I can even automatically view the team's TeamSnap calendar in my google calendar without having to retype everything (as can anyone else on my team). The level of privacy is customizable, so you can make it as private (or not) as you wish! TeamSnap customer support is very responsive if you have a problem, too. WOW! THANKS TEAMSNAP - for making my life easier!!” — Lindy R.
“I've been using TeamSnap to manage my son's soccer team for a couple years now, and am extremely pleased with the service it offers. I can create a schedule that all players can access, send out messages to the team, create player profiles that each player can edit as they please, keep track of payments, and many more useful features on one convenient web site. I can even be a part of more than one team, and conveniently switch from one the the other without logging out.
Many of my team members have told me that they love the convenience of the site, and really appreciate it's features, especially the messaging and the photo sharing that everybody can participate in by uploading and viewing team photos. I love being able to centralize all the information, and to send messages to all so easily.
TeamSnap regularly comes up with new features, and lets me know what they are when they're ready. They're constantly upgrading their service, and are open to suggestions as well as technical questions. I highly recommend this tool to team managers and coaches as a great way to keep it all together.
Thanks TeamSnap for a smart, slick, streamlined web site that really helps teams communicate and get organized!” — Naomi H.
