Coach: This drill is called the Superman drill. It's important to learn how to read the ball and get yourself in position so that you can receive the ball in the most effective way. In this drill, we're not going to actually pass the ball, we're just going to use positioning. So I'm gonna toss the ball, and the players are going to position themselves so that the ball goes in between their legs. If the ball can go in between your legs, you know your position is perfect to receive the ball.
Let's see what it looks like. Nice job. Good. See how they keep their stance and they move their feet? They would be ready to pass the ball, if that's what we were doing. Nice job.
Player: Got it.
Coach: Last one. Good. When you're doing this drill, you need to make sure that you keep your legs low and your arms out so that you're ready to let the ball go between your legs.
