BOULDER, COLO (April 24, 2014) –The Ferry Bocce League, a San Francisco-based bocce ball league, has partnered with TeamSnap to provide coaches and teams with the ability to manage and coordinate their sports activity using TeamSnap online or on their smartphones.
With nearly 40 teams consisting of approximately 320 players, the league needed help organizing multiple teams' player signups, scores and other business. "Managing our fun league is serious business. The challenge of wrangling 40 teams seemed overwhelming until a league participant suggested we try TeamSnap," said Bobby Winston, commissioner, Ferry Bocce League. "Getting notifications out, managing lineups, setting schedules suddenly became, well, a snap."
"Their mobile app is incredibly convenient too. Our teams are made up of incredibly busy people, such as TV news anchors and folks who work for the San Francisco Giants...so coordinating their sports activities on the fly with TeamSnap's mobile app makes life a lot easier."
In the last couple of months since its most recent funding, TeamSnap has increased customers to nearly 6 million. Customers interacted with the service and the company's mobile app more than 40 million times in March alone.
TeamSnap's app is available on the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
