Yes Siri, TeamSnap for iOS Has Been Optimized With Siri Shortcut Functionality
BOULDER, COLO – TeamSnap, the household name in integrated sports management, announced today that its popular iOS app has been fully upgraded for iOS 12 delivering full Siri Shortcut functionality.
TeamSnap users with the latest iOS app now can simply ask Siri, Apple’s popular intelligent assistant, for updates and details on upcoming games and practices to help them manage busy sports schedules. TeamSnap’s Siri Shortcut was built with a custom user interface and is currently available on the iOS 12 operating system, working across devices including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple HomePod.
The highly anticipated debut of TeamSnap’s Siri Shortcut comes after the popular youth sports app was featured at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in June.
“Apple has been incredibly supportive in helping TeamSnap connect with our users,” said Dave DuPont, co-founder and CEO, TeamSnap. “Our development team looks to the latest industry development for inspiration and the innovative Siri Shortcuts is changing the way Apple users operate their daily lives. The new voice activated functionality is a perfect enhancement to TeamSnap’s offerings and will make organizing and attending events easier than ever. We look forward to having Siri complement the TeamSnap experience and help millions of users navigate their busy sports schedules with simple phrases.”
Users with an upcoming game or practice, for instance, can ask Siri a next event phrase such as, “Siri, what’s next on TeamSnap?” Siri will tell the user the name of the next event, as well as the time, date, location, their position, how many players are attending and if they need to mark their availability. Siri will display the weather, map, estimated time of arrival, the lineup and player assignments (i.e. what to bring).
TeamSnap is the number one sports team management app. The iOS app has garnered a remarkable approval rating from TeamSnap’s loyal users, ranking as high as the number two app in the sports category with more than 80,000 users giving an average 4.8 star rating.
TeamSnap’s app debuted in the Apple App Store in 2010 and has quickly become a must-have app for more than 20 million coaches, administrators, players and parents to schedule, communicate and coordinate everything for the team, the club and the season.
