      Challenge:

      FRAM Soccer Club was struggling with securing crucial sponsorships for their club. Nabil Rahbar of FRAM Soccer mentioned that “The hardest part was ‘Where to start’ or ‘How to find possible sponsorships’ but the TeamSnap Sponsorship team made this very easy for us here at FRAM being that everything was already in place for us.”

      Solution:

      FRAM Soccer Club first joined the TeamSnap Sponsorship network in the Fall of 2019 and has found that “The sponsorships have helped tremendously, especially when assisting low income families or families that have been facing financial hardship that wanted to continue with our soccer program without affecting the child's passion to play.”

      How FRAM got sponsored:

      FRAM was first contacted by a member of the TeamSnap Sponsorship onboarding team regarding a potential opportunity with a Children’s Hospital in the Los Angeles area. Once we were able to confirm they were interested, our team jumped into action by setting up an introductory call with Nabil to educate him about TeamSnap Sponsorship, walk him through the timeline of our sponsorships, and collected relevant information that we needed to confirm that his organization was a good fit for the sponsorship.

      Who the sponsors were:

      The aim of the sponsorship that FRAM received is to get more kids out playing the sports that they love! TeamSnap Sponsorship’s mission is to give everyone the chance to play and our sponsors, who are aligned with this mission, love seeing the impact of their support in their communities.

      Historically, most of the sponsorships that FRAM received have been with local Children’s Hospitals in the Los Angeles area. These sponsors wanted to support youth sports leagues while also educating families about important sports medicine topics. This included the importance of proper stretching, concussion care and prevention, and proper hydration.
      Through TeamSnap Sponsorship, FRAM also received two sponsorships from DIRECTV. The DIRECTV partnership resulted in an incredible surprise via Undercover Coach, where Sydney Leroux gave FRAM’s players “an unexpected lesson in empowerment”!

      What was involved in it:

      Across all of their sponsorships, FRAM Soccer has completed a number of assets that helped  spotlight their partners and the services they provide in their community. These assets included hanging a sponsored field banner, dedicated social media posts, pre- and post-season surveys, sponsored pinnies, and hosting sponsor seminars. On average, FRAM completed these sponsorships in about 3 months, with only a couple hours of work required over the course of the season to do so.

      Results of the sponsorships:

      Thanks to sponsorship funding via TeamSnap Sponsorship, FRAM Soccer Club consistently meets their sponsorship goals, allowing more children to experience professional training that they would probably would have never had the opportunity to be exposed to!


      Since the Fall of 2019 they have received 8 sponsorships totaling nearly $24,000. When asked about the impact of TeamSnap Sponsorship, Nabil said, “I'd like to thank the TeamSnap Sponsorship team for always going above and beyond when helping to meet our sponsor needs and goals to build a good relationship with them.”
