As a quality assurance tester, Lisa tests new features, reports bugs for fixing and generally ensures that the TeamSnap customer experience is flawless. Before joining TeamSnap, Lisa taught special education and consulted for a web-based student information system company, where she'd previously worked as a customer support specialist, team leader and product manager. She found TeamSnap after realizing her true calling is in technology.
Lisa lives in Virginia Beach, VA, but grew up in Stony Brook, NY. She graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY with a master’s degree in literacy and cognition and bachelor degrees in elementary education and elementary special education. A self-proclaimed nerd and math enthusiast, Lisa maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her master’s program.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys yoga, reading, the beach, live music shows and travel (She spent a semester in Costa Rica and has been to Tokyo twice!). If she looks familiar to you, it could be from her appearance on TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress." She surprised her sister by submitting her to be on the show, which wasn't received so well at first, but a dress was, indeed, chosen and all ended well. In addition to being able to surprise family members with TV appearances, Lisa has the super power to calm crying babies, which she picked up in a long career of babysitting that began when she was 12. She's known in some circles as "The Baby Whisperer."
