We’re welcoming the first European TeamSnapper today, as Jasna BenÄić joins our operations team as a Jr. Operations Engineer!
Hailing from the tiny northwest Croatian town of Poznanovec, Jasna has been involved in the Croatian Open Source community for quite a while. She is the Vice President of the Croatian Linux Users Association, and has also worked with the Ubuntu and Linux kernel communities.
She joined us as a summer intern in June, and quickly impressed us with her eagerness to learn about TeamSnap’s infrastructure and code. She can also drop a mean Jim Carrey reference in our company chat room, which counts for a lot. When she’s not building cookbooks and recipes with our Chef infrastructure, she’s always looking to try out new recipes as a real-life chef. She’s also a longtime Real Madrid football fan, and doesn’t hold out much hope for Croatia’s chances in the 2014 World Cup.
Jasna holds a Masters degree in Informatics Education, which probably helps explain why she wants to dive into ALL THE TECHNOLOGY and bend it to her will.
Dobrodošli!, Jasna!
