This youth volleyball drill helps players improve their timing and movement to the ball.


  • Organization: 2 players 1 ball and a hoop
  • Each player stands about 1.5m away from the hoop Throw the ball via a bounce ball in the hoop to the other player making it as difficult as possible for the other player to catch the ball. After catching the ball the other player throws the ball back as quick as possible to make the player move.
  • Point scored as soon as one of the players drops the ball.
