Chris Vonderkall is the Vice President of the U.S. Kids Golf Tournament Players Association (@USKidsGolfFDN). U.S. Kids Golf, a PCA National Partner, aims to help kids have fun learning the lifelong game of golf and encourage family interaction that builds lasting memories.
Vonderkall explains that it can be difficult to have conversations with parents about how they act during games. These conversations are necessary for creating the culture of positivity and support that is so important for a successful team. He says that once parents put themselves in the coach's shoes and check out PCA resources, he almost always sees an immediate uptick in positivity.
