Dear Soccer,

As I reflect on the years we spent together, I am grateful for the impact you’ve had on my life. From the first time I laced up my boots to the final whistle of my career, you were my constant companion, my true love.

Our journey has been full of ups and downs. There’s no denying that you’ve hurt me like no other with the injuries you inflicted. But those ups and downs are part of our story. From the elation of scoring a crucial goal to the bitter taste of defeat that fueled my determination. You were more than a game; you were the rhythm of my heartbeat and the reason for my existence. Between the camaraderie in the locker room and the adrenaline surging through my veins as I stepped onto the pitch – I will carry these memories with me always.

Through the highs and lows, you taught me resilience, discipline, and the essence of teamwork. You were a relentless teacher, demanding my best and sculpting me into someone capable of facing any challenge. The friendships forged on the field are some of my closest.

Ever since I hung up my boots, the love story hasn’t ended as I embarked on a coaching journey and shared my love for you with others. I hope I have helped others fall for you in the same way, just be sure to be kinder!

Our moments together will resonate in my soul forever. Thank you, Soccer, for being my passion, and the source of countless memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
