How To Help Youth Athletes Open Up About Their Mental Health

Opening up about mental health can be challenge no matter the age. In an effort to address mental health in sports and the additional hardships that have come out of the pandemic, the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) hosted a webinar about the recent findings on student-athlete mental health during COVID. The group of panelists also went over specific tools and resources to assists players, teams and their communities during these times. Listen to a recording of Kamla Modi, Director of Learning at the Jed Foundation talk about the ways the foundation helps youth feel more comfortable and open with discussing mental health issues.
