Pitching Freeze Drills

Using a number instruction system, Freeze Drills involve holds at the various positions. Done on the mound (with or without a baseball) or in front of a mirror, these drills are designed to engrain new pitching fundamentals into an athlete’s muscle memory.

Freeze at #1

  • Strength / Balance
  • Break in Rhythm

Freeze at #2

  • Weight Back
  • Elbows Up

Freeze at #3

  • Strong legs
  • Fielding position

Combination Work (2-1-3, 1-2-1-0, etc)
