About Theresa Sherry

Sherry founded The Tenacity Project, a non-profit organization, as a way to give back to the game and the sport that has been so critical in her life. The club is about so much more than lacrosse. They focus on mental health, leadership, and physical health training as part of their curriculum. They are empowering young women through lacrosse to have the best outcomes in life. Through The Tenacity Project scholarship and aid programs, all girls have access to lacrosse, even if their circumstances would not normally allow it.

About Positive Coaching Alliance

The Positive Coaching Alliance is focused on ensuring that every young person benefits from a positive youth sports experience with a coach who inspires them to become the best version of themselves in the game and in life, regardless of social or economic circumstances. Through our delivery of low-to-no-cost trainings for under-resourced schools, school districts, and youth sports organizations, our or local community-based work looking at the sports equity gaps that exist and opportunities to close them – we are accelerating a positive youth sports experience for all.
